The iSofter DVD Ripper Platinum is an application that was designed to make back-up copies of your DVD discs into your computer with an extremely good compression. It is also capable of converting the audio and video data in your DVDs into a wide variety of formats. Definitely recommended for both experts and novice users, who will certainly find ease of use and a high level of customization, all in the same powerful application.

It supports Audio and Movie DVDs and is able to rip them perfectly. The iSofter DVD Ripper Platinum can convert your video DVDs into several formats, including the built-in AVI, DivX, XviD, VCD, WMV and MPEG4 file formats. It can also make use of any external codecs that are installed in the user’s computer.

We found that installing the iSofter DVD Ripper Platinum is as easy as any other windows installation. However, for some odd reason we couldn’t find, the installation procedure just stopped when installing on a couple of our test computers.
After rebooting and re-running the installer, however, everything went ok.
Quality Of Copy (5/5)
Although the quality of the produced media files is heavily related to the chosen conversion options, we found that even when using the built-in optimized presets the output quality is extremely high.
Software Stability (5/5)
The iSofter DVD Ripper Platinum proved to be very stable, showing no undesired or harmful operation. Even when tested under the minimum requirements, no problems showed up.
