iSofter DVD to YouTube Converter is, as the name states, an application designed to produce Youtube-compatible videos from any digital video or DVD source.

This application converts video at an excellent speed, and the output quality is extremely good. It has a limited format support, only producing MPEG-4 files, both DivX and XviD, but the job is done extremely well.

All in all, this application is a good choice if you need to publish video to Youtube or similar sites, because the lack of supported formats is compensated by a low price.

There is a trial version that can be downloaded for free, with the only limitation that it places a watermark over the produced video file.

The application outputs DivX or XviD videos that follow Youtube’s recommendations for video uploading, that is, 320×240 resolution videos with MP3 or WMA audio. Several pre-set optimized profiles allow you to produce different sized videos for playing in any MP4-compatible portable device.

Luckily, the only job this software performs is done extremely well, at high speeds and with an outstanding output quality. The software can automatically detect your computer’s CPU and optimize the conversion process accordingly, to achieve the best possible speed. Additionally, the application doesn’t depend on codecs installed in your system, as it comes with all necessary codecs built in, although it has the ability to use external codecs if you prefer to do so.

The software also lets you easily choose the scenes you want to rip from a DVD disc, and another nice feature is its user interface, very modern looking yet comfortable to use.
